The latest Audionics/Fort Baxter release will be a soundboard recording of Elvis`last show in his hometown Memphis, Tennessee. Date: July 5, 1976, 8.30 pm. Location: Midsouth Coliseum.
We already had this show 12 years ago by Fort Baxter and it was high time for an upgrade ! The 2 CD set will be accompanied by a 16-page booklet with many photos from this concert and informative liner notes. The sound has even been improved so that we can look forward to this package. The show was the last of the tour and Elvis really enjoyed his time on stage. He wanted to give his home audience a very special performance and the crowd reactions were overwhelming ! This concert definitely belongs to the best he gave this year with little ups and many downs ! Essential for newbies in any case and a nice addition to every collection. It is already in our Concerts On CD - 1976 section !
